We are a team of young local professionals with enthusiasm for dental care. My name is Abdirahman Ibrahim; I have worked as a dentist and a practice manager for over a decade in different countries. I always noticed little to no financial support for emergency dental care offered for people during their financial hardship.

Dental care awareness, dental education to prevent dental decay and pain, and how to maintain good oral hygiene are topics of interest to the wide community. So I decided to create the "Support Dental Care(TM)" business model which is initially a clothing brand, to bring awareness to this sector.
In the near future, we aim to expand our support to dental care services and raise awareness for oral health education, mentorship program, and much more.

Our vision: 

-To raise awareness about the importance of dental care with our clothing brand.
Support people in financial hardship during dental emergency events.
- Collaborate with other clinicians to make dental treatment more affordable to the general public.
- Dedicate a portion of our profits to charity organisations supporting dental care.

Our mission:

- Provide a high-quality clothing brand with our logo design on it to raise awareness and gain community support to gift us, sponsor us, support us or buy from us, so we can allocate a portion of our profits to fund and donate to not-for-profit charity organizations that work closely with dental clinics to cover the cost of emergency dental treatment visit for people with financial hardship. We also aim to allocate another portion of our profit to support dental care services in 2 phases.

Phase one (1-4 years to set up initially but with ongoing application ):

- Expanding our merch brand to gain acknowledgement and momentum,
- With every purchase made through our website, we will donate 1$ directed to fund a not-for-profit charity organization to cover the cost of emergency dental treatment visits for people with financial hardship.
- With every purchase made through our website, we will allocate 5$ to fund Support Dental Care services & raising oral health education workshops and seminars for culturally and linguistically diverse communities while working with our colleagues' Dentists, Dental clinics, Dental suppliers, Dental care services companies, Community leaders and governments bodies.

Phase two: (5+ years and ongoing) and can be fast-tracked in year 2 with the available funds and investors.

- Expanding the work with charity organizations.
- Funding the expansion of support dental care services to include opening a series of dental clinics that collaborate with charity organizations, creating a standardized process and then merchandising it for the dentists that want to use our logo brand while the clothing brand still offers the support and funding through its sales.
- Involving investors to invest in opening dental clinics that drive the business vision and mission.
- Expanding our brand logo to be a nationally recognized brand that is a mission-driven business.

How we support?

Here at Support Dental care, we support our community in many ways! The following are some of our ways to support both financially and non-financially.

1. When you buy from us, we donate 1 $AUD for every item sold to the National Zakat Foundation (https://www.nzf.org.au) ABN 39521979908. It has a list of dental clinics to collaborate with to send its referrals to them and help people with financial hardship by covering the cost of the emergency dental visit. 2. We also allocate 5 $AUD to support dental care services and education to drive the vision of the business and raise awareness about dental care.

All our products are created at the time of purchase, making them environmentally friendly by reducing carbon emissions and avoiding bulk stock, which means you will receive high-quality, newly made goods.

3. We encourage all patients to discuss with their dentists their oral health condition, how to improve it and how to prevent dental pain/emergency events from happening.

4. We aim to raise oral health literacy and education for culturally and linguistically diverse communities by conducting group talks and discussions when applicable with collaboration with dental clinics, community group leaders and charity organizations. 5. We aim to offer mentorship and dental carrier discussion to high school and current Dental students to help them navigate their choices before/after joining the dental carrier/university. This will be done by offering a FREE unlimited booking one-on-one discussion with one of our year 4 and 5 dental students and registered dentists to ask all your questions. 6. We build relationships with influencers and partner with them to help direct their audience to become exposed to the Support Dental Care movement.

7. We donate our time and effort as a team to different community service opportunities that directly or indirectly positively affect dental care.
